Is drying without direct fanning ok? Don't want to do it half ***. I have the buds in the htg dryer in my closet hangin from the ceiling. I have the room fan on and the closet door cracked open so no light will get in and the wind will still get through the door.

Depending on your humidity it may be best/better to dry without a fan. If your humidity and heat are low enough mold won't grow. The advantages of drying without a fan in this case is that it will slow the drying process, allowing plant gasses to escape. A nice long dry is the first stage in having a nice end product. Too quick a dry will leave a green taste in the finished product.

I would leave a fan circulating air in the room. Your temp is good, but the RH is a little bit high. Just keep a fan on low, and don't point it directly at the buds.
