I'm unsure of the lineage. I got the original seeds from whitewidow.rocks who claimed their strain "from overseas" was more stable than the one sold by Humboldt. That was in 2022, though.

I did the approach graft to make the plant grow bigger, yeah. It was just something I had read and wanted to try. I initially had four clones and planned to connect them all, but I made a mess of thing pairing two and two in the same pot. I ended up culling the smaller pair instead of trying to get them all connected.

The branch grafting I did was just to see what would happen mostly. I had expected to see those grafted branches continue to grow, maybe at a faster pace than from their own root system. That didn't work out so well, though.

I was also sort of interested in grafting weed to something else like, I dunno, a tomato plant maybe. Then it would technically be "not weed" and wouldn't count as one of my allowed four plants. I had one graft last several weeks on a pepper plant and it had even put on a couple of new leaves. But then I stupidly removed the grafting tape to see how the graft looked, and the branch fell off immediately. I think it would have worked if I had been more patient.

It takes several months to root a grafting

Well, maybe some things didn't go as planned but dude I love the way your mind works. I'm always trying to think outside that little box we always put ourselves in. *** normal I want something out of the ordinary. Sometimes ya win sometimes ya loose your lunch money..lol But hey ya gotta keep an open mind and at least try.

I really appreciate the offer but I'm just curious as to *** that is..lol Freaks are one thing but this is some other animal.

So what is the lineage of this? How long ya been growing it?

Question on the graph stuff. So this is basically welding two plants to one trunk. I can see where that would make a big plant. Is that the main goal?

Also, the mixing of other strains into a host. What is the point in that in doing that? Is it just like a piggy back to keep something alive?

Cool stuff Crash
ABC is Australian ******* Cannabis. It is reported to be a landrace that grows all over Australia. I think it is more of a stealth option since it doesn’t really look like cannabis(kinda like the Freakshow and SupaFreak I think). I am pretty sure crash sent me some seeds but I haven’t tried it out yet. So little time and so much to do…

Thanks for the info. I looked up more info and it said it runs about 5%. That's probably street potency in 1972... Lol

That seems a little low for the buzz I get, but it's definitely not a smoke and sleep kind of buzz. It's the only strain I like smoking while I'm working on something technical, or maybe running the manual mill.

Crash has a knack for finding odd plants to share his experiences with us all on. He got me curious about Freakshow plants. Variety is the spice of life.

The good thing about low THC weed is you can smoke a whole joint without getting catatonic(well, I probably couldn’t but I could take for draws off of a joint and get a similar buzz to one hit off of a 20% joint). That being said, the Freakshow strain I think is supposed to be 17%. I take a couple of hits and I am flying. Sativas are almost like a different drug for me compared to indica dominant or ever hybrids.

I totally get that. I never hesitate to grow 17% or higher strain. A low potency strain is okay for edibles or if ya want something not so powerful as today's strains.

I remember when the teens were the highest ya could go.
