What medium do you find best ? Rockwool cubes, Rapid Rooters, soil ??

I just tried root riot for clones and will never go back to peat plugs. Root riot snugs clone perfectly even the tiniest ones. Every one rooted perfectly my last batch with no worries.

Soil or bubblers, mostly just soil.

I've used about all products for rooting but I've always come back to the mini peat pellets, I've had better luck with them than the rapid rooters...to each their own...

I have had the most success just sticking the branch in a glass of tap water kept at 77 degrees (the default on the seedling mat). The part I want to root is scraped and under water. No luck at all with rockwool, and about 50/50 with root riot plugs. Going to have to try the peat pellets. I have some, but never opened the bag.

I've found the smaller diameter plugs seem to root better than the fat ones...according the what strain you are rooting, it usually takes about 2 weeks to show roots...
