BIG mistake.....

....so I recently got married, and my wife had all these 6" square mirrors left over from decoration..... I thought, in all my genius, I would line the rims of my grow pots with mirrors to allow for sun refraction to the undersides of my babies' leaves. BIG mistake!!!! In a matter of hours, my bottom set of fan leaves were brown, crispy, and withered to the stalk. I thought it sounded like a good idea when I had it, but turns out there's a reason I never heard of such a technique.....Soooooooooooooo; the moral to this story?

I did something very similar when I first started with indoor growing. Lots and lots of mirrors....

I wasted a lot of money.

It seems that learning is never cheap.
