Day 45 Update: Queens Banner Auto Fem

I’m just sitting back and watching the growth. I've never had plants this big before, but they don’t have much more room side to side. It’s a 48x48x78 tent, I can’t raise my light any higher, and it’s already dimmed to 50%. The DLI is maxed out at around 44. And as @Carty says “Autos Rule!!” 😂

Current Measurements:
- EC: 2.7
- pH: 5.8
- PPFD: 525
- Light Duration: 24 hours

Let’s see how they respond from here!

They look very healthy.

4x4 tents are pretty tall. These don't look any higher than maybe 30-35" from the floor. Looking great btw...

In flower they need some heavy light pounding them. I'd jack that up to 100% and just adjust the height as needed.

Amazing how well a plant can fill a space when given space to grow. Nice job in here.

Thank you! I was wondering about that. So I have a 42” tower fan and the one is peaking over that by a couple inches. Right now I’m at about 525 PPFD to the tallest cola. And I’m worried about light burning. But no risk no reward so I’m going to give it a whirl and just keep an eye on em. Appreciate the advice as always!

I'd take that main cola and bend her over so she lays vertical and evens out the canopy... be sure to bend her the right direction is all, she'll lay right over.. she'll build a knot at the bent site area and everything above it will blow up.... Used to do this so much I changed my handle to Bender way back when I was Flowerchild... LOL>
Plants look amazing, for a second the one on the right looked just like my Beast Mode..

Thanks! Yeah it does. Haha i definitely got some defoliating to do. Waiting for that last little bit of stretch and then I’m gonna go to town. It’s funny. It seems like the last couple days all the little side branches are starting to catch up to the main.

@greenmobster440 you got me curious with how tall it is. From the ground the main stem is about 58” Rest of the plant is slowly but surely catching up. But I think you’re right. I’m gonna just blast her with light when I’m in full flower mode and see what happens.
Bad picture, still working on my photography skills haha. 🤣

I'm gonna second the suggestion Carty made. I'm a bender as well and at any stage will crush n bend a stem to train it.

At or near 50-52" crush that main stem. Crush about a 2" section to make it pliable and keep bending her back n forth till she's laid over 90°. Just fold it right into the canopy. Ya can use a tie or string to hold it in place for a week or so. Adjust your light from there. Now it won't burn at all and the others can be closer to the lamp.

The idea is to get light on the whole canopy versus pounding a single main cola. She grows just as big bent over.

I never top plants so I do this crush n bend gig all the time. Plants love the stress.
