Help with this please.

I have my 3 plants in flower 2 of them are just finishing their 4th week and the 3rd in just finishing her 3rd week. The first 2 started budding like crazy at the beginning and now it has all seemed to stop, or has it? They look great but its like watching paint dry? Are they growing or could they have stopped? Am I just being impatiant? Is their a time frame were they are going to take off again? What do I exspect?

Any thoughts?

Cheers!!

I think your being impatient, one thing you can do is take pics of them every day, if you dont think they have grown then go back and look at the pics, most of the time you will see a good amount of growth over a few days worth of pics...

I agree...if your like me and like to watch the Ladies everyday (all day) it does seem like they slow or even stop...But also 4-5 weeks into flower ..the fast growth you seen could have been the stretch..this is normal when plants go into flower cycle.. You will be fine..Take care and be safe

Yup... it's hard to be patient when waiting on meds... especially if it's your first bloom and you're out of meds!

Over the years I've done lots of grows at remote locations in friend's houses (friends with black thumbs! ;)) in a spare room away from my home, automating everything so I would only have to visit every 4-5 days. My previous grow location I had a partner and it was at his pad so I could come over once a week or so and and the best thing is I'd really see progress each time... I'm back at home in my closet these days and I have one plant that's slowed down a lot too and only in the last few days after I top dressed my plant with a super soil mix with worm castings, bone meal, blood meal, bat guano, etc. things are taking off again so I think she just needed more encouragement. Sometimes it seems to be too much nutes that can slow things down too...

I've noticed some strains from time to time consistently flower hard for a while and then slow down mid flower and then hit it hard again the last few weeks. Some of this ebb and flow to the pace seems to be natural but sometimes I think some lock out may be occuring. Is it possible that you have some build up of nutes in your substrate? Are you in soil or hydro? Do you feed with plain water often? I've done both hydro and soil over the years and when I used to feed much more aggressively with non organic nutes I'd get salts built up and after a really good flush they would really take off again... Just a thought...

Good Luck!

Thanks Dirty.
I am soil and I have only been watering once a week with some Shultz 10-54-10 super bloom added.
As I said they look good and healthy but I guess I might watch them too much and it just seems like its taking forever. Lots of budds lots of white hairs coming out every place! I think thats good right?

Cheers!

yup thats good,

sit tight you may have 5-8 weeks to go still.

I'm in pretty much the same boat with 1 of my girls.Yes,it is hard to sit and watch.Like 4U said it's even harder if you are able to go watch whenever you like, all day long.Since I've gotten my scope I've got my eye to it several times a day:D ,watching, waiting.I too thought my girl was done but then I noticed them swelling up.I say try to wait at least 6 weeks into flowering.I also do as HIE said with the pictures. You can see a difference, kinda like time-lapse photography.

Yup that's really good... Your bloom food sounds fine but you may alternate with water only and feed every other time or every 3rd watering depending on how rich your soil is. I thought maybe they had slowed down producing hairs but as long as they are flowering profusely things are going exactly as they need to. I hope it's an Indica for your sake!;)

Peace!

I have been told my plants are a indica/the other kind? cross strain. Here look for yourself.

Your middle pic is exactly like mine ! whats your plants genetics do you know can you offeer any more info ! All i know of mine is bagseed that was tossed my way ! peace and they look fine ! well they must be fine because mine are too !

yep mine are bagseed too! I was told by Hick he thinks it is a cross breed both indica and sativa what ever that means I dont know just hope I get some decent smoke in the end!

Cheers!!

Sativa strains are a taller slender type of plant up to 20 ft (general outdoor) where as Indica's are a shorter bushier strain predominantly (indoor ) So we both have a sativa x indica you can usally tell a sativa due to them having thinner leaves in their early age ! where as an indica strain will be noted for having a fatter leaf ! I thought i had the X of both but i am unsure of exactly which breed ! oh well it still burns and cures the aches and pains of marriage and the like ! Peace and take care !

Cheers Friend happy growing!! Oh and smoking! I am for weeks for this strain how long do you think it will take before harvest? Have you don this begseed strain before and how long did it take until ready?

Cheers!!

No i have'nt grown this pheno before ! But mine are not flowering yet i am trying to keep them in the vegetative groove until september when spring begins and the the days get longer ! i have restricted space know as well i am growing in a fridge with 4 plants at different times i put 2 in the fridge at 4am until 7am and then into the sun until 5pm ! Yet the other 2 i have go into the sun at 7am and into the fridge at 5pm untill 8pm ! Its like they are shift workers and i just supervise ! Ive mounted a T12 flouro light in the fridge sideways and pulled the freezer compartment out ! And built a shelf so 1 is above the other ! Sadly i had to tip them yesterday as the height was becoming a problem so that should buy me some time while they recover ! My aim is to grow them into Trees and give them a 10 month life cycle and place them in the Australian Desert ! Guerilla grow type thing ! All the best and Take care ! OOhh are you going to start a Grow Journal as you will find that a lot of people will visit as time goe's by !
