with a air coolable light how many cfm should u have moving threw it for lets say a 600 watt light?

I would get a 265 CFM Squirrel cage fan or something equivalent in airflow if I were you. Don't be cheap and spring the 100 beans for proper ventilation!

I happen to use one of these fans to pull both air from my light chamber and grow chamber.

u said u had one fan pulling from your light and grow room. do u have them plumed into a y pipe and do u have control of flow in each line.

I think what is being described is something like

<---FAN---(ducting)---[AIRCOOLED HOOD--<--]---<---(air sucked into box)

I have used a 440cfm EcoPlus inline blower with a 600 watter. Powerful, but I don't think it overkill. Plus, I'm pretty sure I can put another light on this fan. It is NOT quiet. Although building a box around the fan helped a lot.
