I switched from ebb and flow 2 weeks ago to dwc I had I problem with the roots drying out while I was at work and after the switch the plants roots expanded but the plants don't seem to be growing anymore up top they all look healthy what's going on with them ?

Lights are florescents on 18/6
Nutes are technoflora bc now sure of the ppm but I went by what was on the bottle so I'm guessing it's 400-600 I have white widow and a few bagseeds
The plants are 1month old and are about 7 to 8 inches

you need to do some homework.

Dwc because your plants roots were drying out? Are you flooding enough?

If you cant master Ebb&Flow, why go dwc?

Your ppm's are not acurate without proper measurement, and what is your ph?

ppm of your tap water?

Why grow hydro with floro's, the plants wont recieve enough light to benefit from hydro.

I switched because I didn't have a timer yet so I know I wasn't flooding enough my ph is 6.0 as far as ppm I don't know I don't have a meter and flourecents because they were free n I didn't have the cash to spend on lights yet So since I don't have a meter my ppm is prob messed up right ?

No offense to Jbones but floros will work just fine for veg provided you have enough lumens, they probably went into shock when you moved them, next time just increase the amount of times your table floods.
