Yeah but don't over do it. Couple of leaves per plant
I don’t want to give the impression I go crazy with it.
Like Lesso said, couple leaves here and there.

My goal is to train every plant to look like this. I snip enough leaves to keep the hole in the middle open for airflow, and anything blocking bud sights.

Ok yeah that's what I thought. Ive only been able to get a couple of them to look like that but I ran out of clips again, more should be here tomorrow...a couple of them have way too many bud sites in the middle to get any space in there...it will be interesting to see which ones produce the most. I did different training to different plants. So far, the ones I topped above the 4th node and spread out are the biggest by far but they are sativa's also so....but I'm trying to get them to look like the first pic and like the one you posted. But most of them just look like the rest of the pics below. They don't look this yellow when the lights are off... I need to learn how to take better pictures in there...im sure there is a way to do it...there a couple runts in the litter that I germed late and have stunted bc I was pushing the older ones, and the younger ones were getting the same treatment....I can't wait to see the end result of this grow. Ok I'm rambling....put one in the air for your boy!

Your plants look great. Just keep doing what you are doing. Make small changes.

Cottonball phase! Love it

Hey guys at this point in the game, what vpd do you guys like to be at? Finding it pretty hard to get bellow 60rh even with a dehumidifier. How much lower will I eventually have to go?

What issue would this be guys? Anything to worry about? This is the only plant like this.

Could this be light stress?

This is a good site that might help diagnose it for you:

My first take was overwatering. It sounds like you have been defoliating and that could cause the plant to use less water since fewer leaves means the plant would have decreased transpiration. I grow in soil though so I would wait in water farmers to chime in.

Yup that's where I went first. And I was thinking potassium deficiency after looking at it...or over water or light stress...DLI was pretty high so I backed it down a little bit we will see what happens...here are some better pics...maybe I'll skip a watering today also.

If you're targeting vpd and your rh is too high you can let your temps climb and it will compensate

But my temps are already in the high 80s...when they really start flowering, what's the lowest rh I will have to get to? I can't see me getting below 55 no matter what I do...

I try not to get over 60 but it happens because I live in a swamp. So if my rh is high I just make sure there is plenty of airflow so I don't see budrot or pm

Day 33 - Hey guys! Thought I'd update this thread since I've seen some significant growth the last couple days. You guys see anything that looks like it might be an issue or become an issue? How are things looking? Color look ok? Any signs of any obvious deficiencies? Hope everyone has a sweet ass weekend!View attachment 323635View attachment 323636View attachment 323637View attachment 323638View attachment 323639View attachment 323640View attachment 323641View attachment 323642View attachment 323644

Some great grows and a shout out to samsung cameras in these phones.

Yellow Fly Swatters. Smear petroleum jelly on the Swatter,it will go into the holes of the swatter,Cut the handle off to get rid of the big part and stick the little part of the handle of the Swatter in the pot with the plant.
Its technology and engineering like that, which gave us electricity .....

Ok well idk...there is lots of air flow for sure in there...
What's your ph and have you calibrated the meter?
Ph has been 5.9-6.0 going in everytime...comes back at 6.15-6.2

I have not calibrated the meter in a long time I better do that! Thanks for the heads up!

Lesso one more question...

Do you ever go for any significant dry backs during flower? I've been reading a little bit about crop steering and was wondering if you skip waterings ever to get a decent dry back?

You're in coco so it should be 5.8 going in always. The coco and roots are gonna do Thier thing and raise the ph which goes back to the res. You'll have to adjust the res back down to 5.8 everyday. I thought that plant could be having the same ph issue mine just had because I didn't have a proper calibration on my meter. My plant looked the same as yours. Some plants are very ph sensitive and others can hang with it.

Not in hydro. Especially not in coco. The amount of salt build up would be too much stress. Keep coco moist. Same when I grew in perlite. The salt would build up almost overnight. No I flood twice a day. Once an hour after lights on and again 2 hours before lights out.
