You can use any good quality insecticide that is for veggies. Not when it's flowering tho'.

When the plant is about 6 weeks old, it'll develop alternating nodes. Then, you can take a cutting and place it into a 10/14dark cycle of light and flower the cutting. It'll flower in about 7 days.

When you've discovered it's sex, just throw the cutting away.

Good luck man.

another useful trick, is if you take 15 asprin and crusht hem and mix them with 1 gallon of water, and mix it and spray it on your plants, works great.

thank you!

keep them comein!

umm is there something i can do to make my plants grow faster? what is this flowering proses and how does it work? also how much should i water my plants?

well, the only thing you can do to make your plants grow faster is (indoors) have the proper lighting. Outdoors would be just to feed and water your plants at the right times.

The flowering process is where your plants develop buds. and...the process just happens. It's a result of growing marijuana lol. Pretty much it goes by how much light the plant gets and age.

When you have a plant, when you start it, it has (if you start it outdoors at the right time) long days, and shorter nights. your plant will sprout and go through the "vegitative" stage where it grows it's fastest. (a lot of nitrogen is great for this stage.) then as the year and time goes by, the ammount of light and dark the plant will get will change. When this happens, it makes the plant enter different stages.

The next big stage is the "pre-flowering" stage. This is the stage where you will be able to determine the sexes of your plants! it's vital that once you notice a male, you pull it out within 10 days of the pollen sacks because that's when they'll usually release. If the pollen releases around your females (even longg distance, the wind can carry it) it will pollinate your females into males! never a good thing.

Then you have the best stage, The flowering stage. This usually occurs around september - october depending on the strain. some Strains like Northern lights (a personal favorite) will be in the flowering stage for about 7-9 weeks. Other strains such as white rhino, white widow, california orange and many others will be in flowering for 8-10 weeks.

About the watering, you never wanna over water your plants, but you don't wanna under water them either. I use the rule of the finger, stick your finger in the soil about and inch, if it's damp then you're okay! =) I also have around 10 - 5 gallon buckets lining my shed. This i catch rain water with, it's the best to water your plants with. They say that rain water also contains nitrogen which is great for your plants.

Do you use plant food? if not, it's a good thing for you to do. any kind really is better than nothing. Just get some kind of plant food that mixes with what you water them with. Or you can also use a like time release NPK and lay it out around the base of the plant covering where the roots are so when they get watered they get fed!

A good indication that your plants need food is if they are turning a lighter green color in the leaves. Don't over feed your plants though, too much food can burn your plants. It's good to use a schedule, like feed them every so many days and keep using the same amount of days between feeds.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I or many members of Marijuana Passion would be glad to help! I hope this helped you some, happy growing and good luck!
