I got the chance to couple a buddy's King LED 1500 with my own, so I am trying to see if I can get 10 plants done in a 4.5 x 4 closet. Because I live in an extremely punitive Bible Belt state, I don't get to grow as often as I'd like - kind of freaks the wife out a little, so I try and pack as many strains in at one time as I can. Gets a little crazy managing heights with Sativas and Indicas together, but I always get through somehow. Topped some and fimmed some for comparison purposes. These gals are packed in like sardines! I put both lights on them as soon as I put the seedlings into 1 gal bags, and the nodes are as compact as I've ever had in my limited experience.

I have 2) Fire OGs, 2) Chupacabras, 2) Banana Hazes, 1) Gorilla Glue #4, 1) Girl Scout Cookies, 1) Grandaddy Purps, and 1) Sugar Black Rose.

Using 2 King LED 1500 lights, Fox Farms Ocean Floor soil, and Technaflora nutes. Using a mix of 3 gal air pots and 3 gal grow bags. First time I've used the bags, but I only have 6 air pots, so I figured, "Why not?" So far I like the bags very much.

Apologies for the pictures, I'll get some better ones soon. These are at 3 weeks flower today, and I just trimmed the crap outta them yesterday.

Thanks, you two! Novitius - How have your yields been using the 2 1500s? I may buy a second one, or try and talk my buddy into selling me his if they keep going as well as they have so far. He actually ordered one, and they sent him 2 by mistake, so i grabbed one at half price!

I've had one harvest with them so far. Yield was decent but I could have done better. The quality was fantastic. If never used an LED to grow before. I'm on the train now tho.
I pulled six point something zips off four girls in the 2x4. Two plants vegged for about 8 weeks and two vegged for about 4 weeks in 3 gallon pots. Learning how to work with the light will improve those numbers, I'm positive.
I'm very happy with the King product and customer service.

Why not try the popular white color LEDs on the market? I think they do better than burple lights?

Let me guess... you can recommend one, right? Must be my lucky day.

Not trying to hijack, but when I was looking at LEDs, I just poked around amazon a bit; I truly appreciate the extensive reviews on some models- very informative, and you can cross reference the reviews against what people are using here and get a well rounded sense of what works and how to apply it to maximum effect.
This grow is so darned pretty, it makes me happy :)

Thanks, SA - I'm appreciative!

I think that's how most people do it - You do a little due diligence, and cross-reference that against what folks you've decided you trust and like are using and/or recommending. This dude's tactic, which is becoming more prevalent here, is the equivalent of a cold-call on your phone: Unwelcome and unhelpful, and prone to trigger a disproportionate response. Why these light manufacturers employ these tactics -and these people - is beyond me. It's not a sustainable model.

I’ve just started using a 3k watt ( 630) output and a 1500k watt (230) output PHLIZON cob cree in my 4x4 with 2 strawberry OG & 2 Gelato #33 Larry birds and not sure if this helps but two 35 watt bulbs pointing up from the bottom to get the lower buds .... this is my second grow is this overkill? I was only able to use the 3k during the summer but now in winter I am able to maintain 76 degrees F with all these lights?

Beautiful grow. You will have a very nice jungle ahead of you. Can't wait to watch.
Thx ..... I appreciate it!! I had a friend tell me the bulbs on the bottom facing up is a waste of time kinda overkill but in my rookie mind lights on buds that aren’t getting full penetration is a good thing what’s your take on it, also I had a lot more leaves but trimmed a bunch that were blocking direct light to bud sites ... is that ok or do more leaves mean more photosynthesis therefore bigger buds?

Quick check-in at 31 days flower. Packing on some weight now, and the beginnings of frostiness are showing up on the indicas. It's starting to get hard to get to the back of the closet to water now. Canopy's still holding together, for the most part. Amazed at how well everyone's playing together! Halfway home!

It's starting to get hard to get to the back of the closet to water now.

I use a sprayer with a wand on a the end of a hose that extends my reach a few feet. It is made by Satan, er, I mean Scotts. 2 gallon capacity. Might work for you as well...

Checking back in @ 6 weeks flower / 42 days. My camera's battery took a dump on me right in the middle of pruning and tying them up, so I couldn't shoot all of them, but this is a decent sampling. I hope I don't have to mess with them again. Gold stars go to the Cupacabras, the Sugar Black Rose, and the Gorilla Glue #4, but all of them seem healthy and happy and I'm looking forward to the stretch run on this one. 2-3 more weeks should bring most of them home, but the Banana Hazes may need more time. Thanks for looking, and Happy Holidays, MPers
