I did a water cure once and I will never do it again. I thought it tasted like crap smelled like crap and didnt get me any higher than a bag of downtown bobby brown. YUCK. I didnt like it waste of time IMO.

Id say watch your MG soil. Could cause alot of your problems because of its slow release. And do you know your ph on your tap water? Just for xtra precaution Id let your water sit out for 24hrs before using it. Check your ph though.

Yes usually you do need a special lamp for an hps bulb, and ballast and starter. Im not sure about a 150w one though I think they all run the same way. I know a 250 needs all that stuff to run.

Im not to sure about algea effects. I would think that the algea would block the roots from getting penatrated by the nutes therefor you get your pale leaves. Im guessing it could travel and grow up your plant as well and start to give you some bad spots on leaves, stunted growth mite be another...

Is there maybe some light beating in onto the water ? I would clean your system. Wash the unit and replace the nutrient solution with a fresh mix. Just throw out all the old infested nute mix. Maybe add some H2o2 to for an xtra added protection messure.

I think 80-82 is a tad bit hi. But people will disagree with me and say its fine and it can be ok if thats as low as you can go. Ive seen it grow fine at those temps. Personally with my 1000w hps I like to keep the temps at about 75-78 and that works good for me.

I agree with TBG bring your temps down. I would say shoot for mid 70's but your temps being so hi as it is mite be hard. And how far away are your lights from the plants? I seen the side lights whats on the top?

Different growers would tell you different things about flushing. IMO I think most everybody would say no you dont have to flush when using organic nutes, and some say flushing is a load of b.s. I flush and I probably would if I was using organic to but thats just me.
