Yes, thank you. That is exactly what I am planning on desigining. And in a SoG, you are not going for width, you're just focusing on the top cola. The top cola doesn't need to be more than 4" wide. Here's a link for the DIY Cooltube.

Remember I am very worried about electricity bills. There is no way I can run a 1000w. I figure I am able to run about 700 watts in the shed. The setup I have now is 654 watts. The 5 ozs every 3 weeks is an estimate based on other SoG grows I've read about. People are getting about 0.5 ounces...

My future mother-plant is and has been growing in this same soil mixture her entire life (~7 weeks). She was FIMed yesterday, and IMO, she seems very healthy. A (**** quality cell phone) picture attached. Higher quality pictures to come.

That's soil-covered perlite - not rocks.

My original plan was to use Fox Farms soil, but there is no good marijuana-growing soil available to me. The closest store I can find is about 4 hours away. There is no way I'm ordering soil online - shipping on a few hundred pounds of soil is ridiculous (hundreds of dollars)!
