Does this look ok just for now?!

ok well i have 2 100w cfls hanging over two sprouts about 4 inches above them. also you can see i have i have another cfl kinda chilling in the middle do you think this is ok for now????

are they both in the same container? if so you should really seperate them now while they're small. those lights will work for a couple of weeks but your gonna need alot more imo. also do you have a fan blowing on them?

Yo GreenMachine90,
Place your hand in between the lamp, and your babies. Your palm facing down towards your hopefuls. Feel the temp on the back of your hand. Your the judge in this situation, since your the one that is there. If you have any doubts raise the lamps about 2 more inches to be safe. ***Warning*** it is easier to burn or just flat cook your plants than most folks realize. Better to risk a little stretching than to lose your babies from lack of care right ?

yes i do have a fan on them, and they are in the same container but under the soil in the middle is a divider.. this container is about 8'' deep and im not looking for very big plants, should this be ok?

i grow small plants and i wouldn't use anything less than a gallon size pot per plant. it might be ok if your gonna do a 12/12 from seed but i'd still go with bigger pots. jmo

well its really up to you. there roots aren't that big right now so your less likely to damage them but they're so easy to kill at that age. you could flood the container real slow untill they float to the top and gently place in a new pot and cover the roots back up. or you could wait a few weeks and risk damaging the roots and stressing the plant. its about the same either way so its your call. good luck hope this helps

for now it's fine, you will need a higher wattage or more bulbs later. Also you should transfer them to their own pots

I agree,,the sooner the better. At least gallon pots.

I have used CFL's Yer gonna need more. I was using 14,000 lumens for 3sf.

Does this look ok just for now?!
