This one seems down right impossible. Although so did the TEN puzzle... good one SmokinMom

On an IQ test I always fail the bit about spacial relations. I don't know what my IQ is, but it sure isn't 158.

Every day a man leaves his apartment on the 46th floor and rides the lift down to the first floor to go to work. Every evening at about 6 pm he gets in the lift, takes the lift up to the 38th floor, gets out and walks up the stairs the for the remaing eight floors until he reaches the 46th floor. Why?

Arrange 10 pennies as shown in the diagram below. The challenge is to change the direction that the triangle is pointing by moving only three pennies.

Does gravity play into effect here?

I really like logic puzzles, more than riddles, I knew the answer so I didn't want to say anything. Also the answer you gave for my 9 dots was correct, nowhere in the rules did it say you had to stay within any parameters.

The question that HIE posted is a conundrum, usually people will ask questions that can either be answered with yes, no, or irrelevant to find the answer. If HIE decides questions are ok to answer in this fashion I know the answer as well so if he isn't around I can answer them.
