First day of Spring and this is what I dealt with at work all day. I was just glad i made it home after work. My car sucks in the snow. Real wheel drive, high torque and 425 horse equal a nightmare in snow.

Happy Spring.

425 hp... Hemi SRT?
(2012 Hemi Charger AWD here.. a TANK in the snow)

beautiful!!
but a beach to drive in

Glad your home (safe) and can now relax and enjoy the view.

How do those BIG BROWN trucks like the white stuff?
easy peasy loaded but not fun empty I bet.

Oh man, Hammy, that looks beautiful and horrible. Glad you are safe and sound and stoned.

looks so tough for a ride! i'm glad that you're safe warm and cozy

It's a BMW 135i with a Juice Box 3 hooked up to push the boost on the Twin Turbo from 8.5 stock to a little over 14. Horse goes from 300 stock to 425.

They handle better than my car for sure, but yes once they are empty they handle lot different.

It was really pretty to look at but by the time I had punched out we had about 8 inches on the ground in places. Nothing like hitting the brakes and instead of slowing down I sped up like a toboggan. Scariest feeling I have ever had driving.

:aok: German engineering. [drool]

I could afford American displacement instead (5.7l)

I over spun my Grand Prix GTP supercharger with an under sized pulley/exhaust/CAI/PCM.
Fun times but only so much you can do with FWD.

The warranty is just about up on the Charger, time to start looking into mods.
Hawk pads + cryo-treated power-slot rotors so far...

Have you tried the "new" snow tires?
I ran studded snowes in the mid 90's and those were nice but these new Blizzak snow tires BLOW them AWAY!

Almost time to bring out her summer shoes (20")
Conti X-Contact on these

Yeah you guys are hurting. I hope enough people wake up before it is too late. Climate change is real and it is here.

yeah well, try this feeling when going on downhill sharp turns with cars stuck and crashing all around, it's the way it happens here, as it only snows on altitudes, there would be so many cars stuck having slid off road, people pushing cars like sledges girls screaming inside lol never seen anyone getting hurt as they are usually going slow but it can get funny. i once got stuck overnight with couple of friends in a cherokee 4x4, those things are not at all good for snow, they had to bring a jeep with that winch thing to pull us out

The view yesterday evening as the sun dropped on a beautiful 86 degree day.....sending you some warm mojo....you have had enough of the cold stuff.

Your right........ been several ice ages over millions of years....... the winter down south was like winters we had when I was a kid in the 70's.

I was in the woods all day yesterday.......... started out at 60 degrees hit a high of 80........ the pollen is horrible........ allergies hitting me hard today......... eyes and sinuses are irritated......... I almost have a headache......... and I never get headaches.......... beware the pollen is coming your way.
