good day.
I'm smoking weed for some time now and in the past i had some plants growing in my garden. unfortunately due to the political situation here in israel good old green stuff is extremely rare and of a very bad (stupid Arab in Egypt growing on camel **** bad) quality. while planning my future growing room i have found some ads selling led based systems. until now all the growing systems that i heard about were based on strong bulbs with reflectors and 600W ballast, heat issues etc. what can you tell me about the led system? is it as efficient as they say it is?:holysheep:

no, get a vented hps, 250, if heats a problem, &small space. p.s. My friend flys out tomorrow to israel..

IMO the jury is still out on l.e.d.s for MJ growing ive seen some grown on them with good results but so far it seems lots of work setting up the lights e.g. having to wire and solder each one etc ive seen the systems that you can get but never tried one. H.I.D (MH or HPS) is still the best followed by CFLs and Fluroesants.

lets forget for a second about all the setup issues. how efficient is this growing method? basicly i have an option to purchase a ready system for a fair price.
