That's where you dirt folks have it over us R-DWC boys. My first hydro grow was a strain called Green Giant, a pretty much straight sativa, and Skunk #1, a heavy indica. The nutes that a sativa loved would turn an indica into a crispy critter, so you've got to find a unhappy medium between starving one and frying the other. Lesson learned.

Really, thats so weird to me.

In soil i noticed that indicas are way heavier feeders than sativas.
Sativas have been super easy for me to fry.
I only feed my sativas once a week and indicas 2x sometimes 3x a week.

Im just hoping this doesn't bite me in the *** lol. I have an 80/20 sativa in with 8 other heavy indicas for a SoG.... not sure what i was thinking when i sprouted seeds for this thing 🤔🤦🏻

I might have said that back-aswards. It's been years since my first hydro grow.
I can't even remember what I ate for dinner on Monday.

I am going to jamaica in a couple of weeks. I am going to try and go on a cannabis farm tour and buy some seeds to bring home.
Wow, cannabis tours now in Jamaica? It's been thirty years since I've been there, every time I've bought weed in the Caribbean, I was sure I got ripped off. Grungy little hard buds like old brick weed and seeded. The smoke was always excellent, belying its appearance. Didn't have the nerve to bring any seeds back even though I was growing a lot back then. Good luck.

Gardening is so full of waiting. Seedlings take forever and the flowering end game is always a test of how much longer do I wait. Always a good feeling when it's time to harvest though.

Will be in a 4x8 tent by the end of the month, traded my FIL my 4x4 for his 4x8 as he's not smoking or growing like he used to so it's just a space hog in his house.

I've just got some stuff in the mail today that I think is gonna be fantastic to kick off the first grow in a 4x8.

Shooting for 12-18 females so I'll be popping 6-7 beans out of each pack.

Stay tuned this should be a wild and fun adventure.
Thinking April 1st these will hit soil.
