Yesterday I seen the owner.
I said good morning,,how you doing today? He said I'm feeling a bit under the weather but I'm okay. I just got my COVID and Flu shot.
I wanted to say,,,on purpose?
Jesus these ppl are nuts.
He has been really good to me ,,,but damn that's disappointing hearing someone doing that **** on purpose with no mandate or being told you will lose your job.
I didn't say ****. He signs my checks.

The Old Hen used to get the yearly flu shots. I didn't. I got on the CDC webpage and saw that they basically take a Scientific Wild *** Guess as to which flu strains are going to be hot that year and vaccinate accordingly. Pretty much throw a dart at the wall and see which one they hit.
We both get sick at the same rate. Why bother? Also, I'm afraid that they'll start piggy-backing the covid shot in with the flu shots. I ain't taking that risk.

Last time I had the flu and was sick enough to actually go to the doctor, the doc asked if I had gotten a flu shot and I said no, never. He wandered off with a knowing accusing look on his face. A few minutes later his assistant came in and I said something to the effect that I should have gotten the shot this year. She told me the vaccine they were pushing did not cover ANY of the flu strains going around, including mine. I asked why the doc was giving me dirty looks for not taking it, and she said he does that to everyone.
