Snapped thse on my phone so I know the pictures aren't the best but I had about 3 leaves like this with half of them withered or curled up on a young plant about 5/6" tall. I just pulled them off. PH of the soil is fine (about 6.8). Referenced a book and it said that the curled leaves could be a result of a Zinc, Iron and Manganese deficiency so I added some to the water. Am I on the right track here or is it something else? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

take the pics again from further back, I know you tried to get close ups for us to see, but they are far too blurred, take a pic or 2 further back but more in focus, if the leaf looks small that doesnt matter, we simply increase the size this end :)

STOP TAKING YOUR LEAVES OFF

Lyfr- yeah sorry i know the pics are terrible, some yellowy brown coloring on the shriveled half of the leaves

HIE- i'll stop pulling the leaves, thanks. thought i should get rid of sickly ones. i threw the few leaves out so i can't redo the photos, i'll see if anymore emerge. is overwatering a likely source? i was a bit worried about that

i have these three

ive been only using Bio Grow though until last night i added some top max cos that was the only one with Iron, Zinc and Manganese and i thought that could be the problem from what i read in my growers bible

im using john innes number 2 soil mixed with perlite and vermiculite. about 7 parts soil and 1.5 perlite and 1.5 vermiculite. every other plant looks beautiful, just this little guy has a few bad leaves.

Wait a second how big was the plant? 5/6" is what it says but I think it means 5 or 6 inches. If so where those new growth or older leaves? How old is the plant? Clone or seed? Were the leaves random or was it starting from the bottom and working it's way up?

yeah 5 or 6 inches or 5/6", 5/6' would be feet ;) or am i crazy?

this is my first grow so thank you all for the help and try and bear with me as some of my knowledge is pretty limited. the leaves were some of the bigger ones near the top. the plant is about a month old and is a seed. the leaves appeared to me to be random. it was only 2 of them, one above the other at the top/middle of the plant.

this is the weirdest looking MJ leaf i've ever seen. is this even an MJ leaf? am i crazy??

Nutes and soil sound good to me. If it's only 2 leaves, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If it was something you were doing wrong, I would imagine you'd have probs with all the plants.

Are all plants the same strain ?

yeah they're all snow white, the plant looks very good apart from this. i'll just sit tight then, she'll hopefully be ok and she'll hopefully be a she! thanks for your time.

i can assure you it is a part of a leaf, here's the full set up, i wouldn't waste your time like that mate. note some of these smaller ones are skunk not snow white as they belong to a friend of mine.

pH reader that I stick into the soil, checked every one and each was between 6.5-7. thanks for the advice, had never heard of stretching- i'll get pinching, how many times should i pinch these?

now thats a pic JT! lookn good, i didnt realize it was only 2 leaves...too early to worry, just whach'em IMO

Right ToA, got busy on that tonight, one thing I found was I couldn't really do it, or at least feel the squich on the lowest part of the stem, only from where the leaves started. felt i was putting on too much pressure on and didn't want to damage the plants. it's not likely i damaged them trying to do this on the base of the stems is it? they're still standing pretty much straight but do sway more from the fan. does that all sound good to you? when should i repeat this?

I wouldn't worry too much either at this point, they look good and ToA has you with the stretch. Good luck

Just give them a few days and I'm sure they will be fine. Definitely read the supercropping thread and try that out. Very great method. Keep us posted. Take care and be safe.
