let me know what ya like to do with ya leftovers..:D

I hang the turkey carcass from a line in the backyard for the birds to pick clean. Great protein for cold days.

casseole...layer stuffing, turkey, veggies taters in a pan cover with gravey and simmer...

We freeze so Christmas Eve dinner is a intimate repeat because the Christmas Day Dinner is never ever traditional. We have just enough bird left over for a Turkey Tetrazzini casarole New Years Day.

Black Friday is creepy.

Slice turkey and ham leftovers and make a sandwich with swiss cheese. Then batter the entire sandwich and deep fry. Dip in raspberry jelly to eat. Great taste if you can stand the calories.

mmmmmm sounds like a Monti Cristo in these parts.

No, No, No, No, No!!! Y'all gotta upload those leftovers to ME!!!! No leftovers here, since we ate out. Missing those turkey sandwiches today.

C'mon, don't be greedy, guyz....upload your leftovers to me!

turkey tetrazzini, always a fav. carcass for homemade soup!

Lets see..open faced hot turkey sand.,Ah : 1-loaf french bread hollowed out like a canoe. Take your turkey, shred it with a fork, layer turkey, dressing, cheese, crumbled up bacon, 1-can cream of mushroom soup mixed with the turkey before, mushrooms(optional, i like crimini's/baby portabellas) cover with top of bread canoe. Cook at 375 for 30-45 min bottom rack. Cut in slices as thick as you wan't them. Cover with remaining t-day gravy. For a freshen up on your taters try adding fresh mint to them. not alot and cut up real good, but stop before they turn totally black or put them in a pot, warm them real good, take off heat add butter, cheese, bacos and sour cream, voila one big baked potato. Happy leftovers.

Throw some turkey, cheese, mayo, cranberry sauce, maybe some cream cheese in a tortilla, roll it up for a turkey wrap. Fast and easy.

Turkey sand with pepper jack cheese and honey mustard ALL DAY son haha

turkey cranberry milkshake. mmmmmm-mmmmmmm
okay I just threw up in my mouth a little.
We have about 5lbs of turkey left. Wont last long, just keep grabbing pieces cold from the fridge. I have 2 more in the freezer for later this winter.
Legs and thighs make great soup meat.

I save the carcass for turkey noodle soup. The meat will make sandwiches for days (plus every time I walk by the fridge I have to grab a piece ). Left over veggies that have'nt had any dairy added such as butter or milk will go into the compost pile. Bread, cake, and other baked goods go to the birds.
My biggest left over section is the pre-dinner stuff. My beer fridge is currently stuffed with all kinds of cheeses, meats, raw veggies, pickles(from the garden), olives and a bunch of other stuff that I actually thought I could'nt do without.
The same folks who came for thanksgiving will be comming over for turkey noodle soup tomorrow. So hopefully most of the left overs will leave with the guests, either in thier bellies or in containers.

Turkey soup, Turkey and Dumpling, Turkey pot pie, turkey & ham stew,
and then what really left over goes to my Dogs, some bones, but just mainly they get to Clean Up my Dishes so I don't have to Wash them..:D

:p

:peace:
