from what i have read i took this from it, hermies are caused from a female plant being too close to a male plant and have the male plants "pollen" get on the female plant. is this right?

what if you are planting a bunch of seeds and aren't sure which ones will be male, couldn't they pollinate eachother being close to eachother, with all the ventilation and everything?

No, a hermie is a plant that is male and female at the same time... It has balls and pistils.... And if you pay any attention to your plant you should be able to separate the males and females before the males pollinate... Hermies can pollinate them selves pretty much...

Hermies are generally caused by the plant being stressed--and that stress is usually stress from irregular lighting. Or genetics. Seeds from a hermie plant will produce hermie plants. IMO, ALL hermies and their seeds should be destroyed.
