I just started a new batch 2 days ago. I started from clones to assure the plants would be feminized. Im growing in a 4x4 closet, which is properly ventilated now with plenty of help from the fans. My temp went from 82-88 to 71-78. I have have 9 plants total. 3 Sour diesel, 3 grand daddy purp, and 3 og kush. Its strange but it seems as though one plant from each strand is wiltering and becoming weaker. Only one plant shows a burnt leaf, but the rest of the plant is strong. I have a four way analyzer that shows my nutes are low (like they should be when starting), the moisture in my soil is good, the light is adequate (400 watt mh, 2 1/2 feet away since they are still babies) and my ph is reading 6.5. Some plants are tall and strong while others seem to be wiltering away. My sick kush plants leaves are now resting on the soil. Im worried but yet Im not. I understand the plants are under alot of stress during those first few days and the transplanting doesnt help. The leaves that were already on the plants when I received them seem to not be doing so well, but the baby leaves look great. What do you think this means? Thanks

...are they fresh cuttings?. or were they rooted clones when you planted them?
fresh cuttings are likely to wilt from transpiration under the hps without a dome., rooted clones maybe expereincing a little transplant 'shock.

the roots were just barely showing in the 2x2 rockwool cubes they were in. I dont get it though. Some plants are doing great while others seem to be sick. They are all in the same batch of soil, so I know they are all receiving the same amount of nutes.

if the clones were taken from different parts of the motherplant(top growth/bottom growth) they will grow/recover at different rates sometimes. i have experienced this with "club clones". i think your right about not worrying too much , too soon. the new growth is your window to your plants health..IMO

also, the success rate falls the higher up on the plant the clone is cut. this is because the newest hormones are in the lowest portions of the plant

Thanks lyfr. Ya I guess that does make sense. So these should pop back once established in its new home. That makes me feel alot better, but I will continue to observe closely. So you definetly dont think its over watering or under nuting? Ill post some other pics as soon as I wake the girls up for a new day. Thanks for your help

possibly overwatering, only cause you suspect it and im a believer in gut feelins. but dont take my word for water or nutes cause im a hydro guy. all i know about soil is your supposed to let top of in. or two dry out befor watering.
