tricomes? not on my buds!

I dont understand, my winter crop has some nice flowers but no tricomes on them.anybody know why? my previos crops (outdoor) are always very snowy at this stage. help! TREE

try and cutt a smaller bud and scope the inside..ive had strains not show but a pretty flower..but inside was coated sugar...we would still like more info and some pics are allways a bonus up in here....like playboy mags in the tree house when I was a Boy...lol...oh..welcome to the passion

Could be strain related but in my experience the sun just makes buds produce way more oil than any hps ever could just give it some more time and you will see trichs forming.
