This is my first year of growing and i have had more success then i expected, since my only remaining plant just happened to be a female and stands now at over 6 feet tall. I live in New Jersey, I planted in early May, and i expect harvest time to be around late sept. early oct. Until this point I have spent my time making sure my plant grew to be big and healthy, which it is. Now i would like to concentrate more on the yield. I am aware of what topping is and how to do it, I am only asking if it is too late now, if a six foot tall plant is too big to top. Also I would like to know what adverese effects topping a plant at this point may have, if any.

Thank You

I would bend her over and tie her down. That would make her bush out and still keep the main cola site intact.

You would be cutting your main big cola off, its far too late for topping, so enjoy the ride :)

youre definitely a little late for topping, i would get some clones off her while shes still vegging, LST would probably fit your situation a little better. good luck, got any pics? :aok:

I agree if you are worried about her being too tall ... topping at this point would slow growth for a while and you would lose the large cola ... bending is the way to go ... :farm:
