6 sets of leaves and allready outgrew its 2gallon pot i just noticed today tha the roots are showing in the drain hole i thought this size pot would be good till harvest its only 6 inches and the pot is full of pro mix to the rim does this mean that this plant is going to be really big? how do i transplant im thinking that mutch soil would be hard to get out of the pot without it falling apart.

Don't know if that means you will have a huge plant or not. Sometimes I notice roots through the bottom of my drain holes, but it does not mean that it is root bound yet. If your plant is dry alot of the time, your roots will go searching for water, and spread out more. At 6" tall, it shouldn't be root bound yet in a 2 gal pot imo (unless it is a foot wide). I would give it more time in that pot. Transplanting is pretty easy, just don't be too rough on them. And I like to transplant when the soil is wet, holds together better. And if you have alot of roots, this also holds the dirt together

crazy horse got the idea... soak the soil nice and the transplant will go a bit easier.

guys i just bought huge pots idont know how many gallons it is but it sur more that 3 its tall about 1 foot and length also 1 foot ? is it a perfict size or is it so big? imean if ill use this kind of pots with all my plants the closet wont fit only for about 3 or 4 hardly?>

ur pot can Never be too big ;) unless it is really to big for ur room, setup, etc lol

the more room the better, MJ likes lots and lots of room, and will no doubt flourish with excess space

Cheers!

Is it bigger than a five gallon bucket? A five gallon bucket is plenty big but i wouldnt go any bigger than that unless you have the room and vegging a long time.

actully i dont know how big is 5G pots but the one i have is prity big as i said its i foot long from both sides (long+width)?

the size u are describing sounds like a 3 gallon bucket to me... 5 gallon buckets are what you would find engine or gear oil to come in... the largest you'd see at walmart. They are close to 2 ft high... 12 inches across.... i'd measure... but my girls are sleeping rite now.

but 12 inches = 1 foot ?? not 2 foots?? so thats mean mine is 5g??
