I can't stop rescuing sad plants from home deopt. In a crazy world where I feel powerless to fix anything... I guess I'll take in some homeless plants and make them happy, since I can't seem to be happy about anything else these days.

Cheap little novelty succulents in dry 2" pots languishing on the low shelves in the so-called "greenhouse" that box stores pretend to actually look after. The poor soul in charge of the indoor nursery must be pretty depressed...

Variegated schefflera was a nice score

Not sure what this is , kinda looks like a ricrac cactus which is a distant zygo relative, but not quite. Its definitely a true cactus. When I went to repot, I discovered there were like, virtually no roots. Whut?! Did they just stick a bunch of branches in some mud and slap it on the 4ss and send it out the door?! Hope it survives... cool plant.

And the nursery of all the bits n pieces that fell or got pruned off. Half n half used pot dirt and perlite. Fingers crossed...
I'm still looking for the variegated monstera deliciosa of my dreams but it's a toss up between paying the mortgage and buying one : /

Ooh redeyes that is an amazing collection, and they are all so healthy! I love the rattail. Can I come hang out with your prickly friends? I think we'd get along lol

I think my zigzag plant is some type of euphorbia.

Loving the blue n white china items. I have a soft spot for those. That's my grandma's excellent taste trickling down I hope! I've got a bit of a collection going too.

That Christmas cactus is over 100 years old. My mom's side. I am giving the jade away, I am sick of it. But I have babies. Thanks for the thread Stinky! Oh good, my kids are not interested, would you like a blue and white inheritance?

I feel like a giant jade becomes an albatross-level curse/responsibility...
I have a century zygo too that came from my old lab partners grandma, her dad gave it to me as a bridesmaid gift when I was in her wedding. My dear old dog who passed last year chomped it the first day I left her alone with it in the house, and ten years later, it's finally recovered ...
I also got my paternal grandmas giant schefflera, which she (miss patsy, my old bulldog) decided to munch down to 25% foliage. Also on day one. Jealous of large plants. I think. Its fine, but every time i look at it, i feel a massive slap of grandma guilt! It will be a few years on that one too.

Fresh cuttings from an unidentified epiphytic orchid cactus a colleague gave me years ago. It has never bloomed for me so I have no clue what it is. And a new viny thing I grabbed at the farmers supply. Is this called pothos and why did my autocorrect change it to ****os lol?
I also scored this sweeeeet curly spider for $7 and LOOK AT THE ROOTS!
