Yeah, takes me back aways also. Thai weed, (Thai-Stick) back in the day was a bit of a rough smoke being a sativa that requires tons of intense light, and forever to grow. We would say nowadays that it was left too long in the drying and curing, thus causing it to need to be shown off by using a fiber thread to tie it to a stick that was often no more that a bit of the spindly stalk. Always seemed to remind me of acapulco gold for some reason. Haven't had or seen any in so very many moons.
Today we are culturing, cross pollinating, hybridizing like crazy, and coming up with blends that are to be recond with, MMMMmmmm Sweeeet stuff ya know ?
Some of the hybrids are so potent that one might as well liken it to being whacked with a baseball bat, LOL
and some tastes and buzzez are so good that I could just fart.
I wish you all the good growth in the world, keep us up to date if you should try this growing adventure.

any1 no anything about growing thai????
I had a thai strain that lasted me more than 20 years. I still have some seed from the strain, but have stopped growing it in favor of trying all the new strains.

Thai grown with todays nutes and methods remains one of the most potent strains on the planet.

It has very similar growing methods to the White Strains.

Good luck man!

WoW Stoney, 20 years is a long haul for certain. You didn't suffer any deterioration of the strain over the years , no mutating or anything bizarre ?
I doff my headcover to you sir. and hope to be there when you spark some back to life. Thus my question that I posted in another forum, (I never really did get a solid answer though). How long can seeds keep if stored correctly, and what is the right way to store ? Thanks Heaps for any advise.
