I am thinking with all my heat issues I will hook up my 6X600w hps to a thermostat so if it gets above 90 degrees it will shut off and kick on some T5s to get through the light cycle. I know 90 degrees is hot but I am dealing with extremes here and CANNOT worry about "optimal" conditions for now. Right now I need to help them get through the heat. I know I need to get some nice vented hoods and run the exhaust out of the room but cannot afford it right now. Do you think that having them in vented hoods as opposed to hanging with no hood will "dramatically help me? I need some ideas guys....... I am purplexed. I have a 16000 watt BTU AC but the way I have the lights and outside temps rising over 90 degrees I am in trouble. ANY ideas are welcome at this point. Thanks everyone!
