yes i have read all of the forum and know of the scrubbers

but i was wondering. has anyone ever tried to exhaust through your drain?
if you tied into your plumbing with a low cfm fan, your pee traps might stop the smell from coming up?


then your smell would go to the sewer

Around here, venting into the sewer can be dangerous. Citizens walking on the streets can smell it, and might complain. Workers would then go into the sewer, and can narrow it down to which building it's coming from. Firemen get called for an inspection of the building, as if there might be a gas leak (no time to shut down).

Once you blow the water out of the P-trap you have lost the back flow prevention that it provides, so your room will just smell like a sewer. I guess if you are trying to mask the smell this might work but not sure if that's what you are looking for!:hairpull:
