also... cheap & simple= flo & HPS, maybe with a MH in the middle!
Dude , whatever fits your pocketbook, flos are cheap and enough light for young ones, buy a HPS and you can flower from there... cheap & simple, you should read up on all the forums here, you'd be able to figure out what's best for you instead of relying on some idiot like me...

yeah those look like a good light source. the article says you can veg and flower with the one light.

Yeah, my bulb from my last grow was an Agromax 250watt hps.:D It is "better" because it has a 30% added blue spectrum where normal hps doesn't contain much blue spec, if any! I've also found other hps bulbs now with increased blue spectrum. So this time I went with a 600 watt Ushio(made in germany) Hilux Gro HPS:banana: .It's blue spectrum was a lil higher than agromax if I remember right. I know it was v.s. the other bulb they had at that store made in the U.S.A. it's spectrum levels weren't that great.:confused2: Them German's though, do make some bad a** car's and stuff!

I use this 430w SonAgro. I have used it a long time but I dont think it worth $65 versus $11 for a standard 400w hps. I will probably be trying the standard next grow.

I believe hps bulbs only put off the correct amount of spectrum for a year. Then you get a new one.

I read into them after reading Todd McCormick's book and I am sold. I think they are great because of the color spectrum that the bulbs hit.

so are they worth veging and flowering with? seems like some of ya'll might have experience (Richie):ccc:
