o k heres where i'm at so far my closet is 4x4x7 i'll be painting flat white for reflection and be using short floroe's due to heat concerns . i'll be planting in 5 gal buckets i want to get fem seeds and want to get "low" growers this is strictly "personal stash" what do you recommend to grow? i'd like to get as many as possible

A room that is 4 x 4 needs 80,000 lumens of light. When you get enough "short fluoros" in to do the job right, you are going to have huge heat problems. I recommend a 600W HPS for that space. You are going to need ventilation, regardless of what kind of lighting you choose.

It is a common misconception that fluoros are cooler than HPS--this is NOT the case. Lumen for lumen, fluoros cost more to purchase initially, cost more to operate every single month, put out more heat, and produce substantially less bud than a HPS.

Also, more plants do not mean more bud. Your light and your space is going to produce x number of grams of bud whether you have 4 plants in there or whether you have 20 plants in there.
