So I was using a regular fabric pot and pH the water to 6.2-6.3 and the water that was in my sprayer would sometimes rise up to 6.8 when I did the subsequent watering 3-4 days later.
To make life easier since I'm gone frequently, I needed a better solution. Also because I always over water my plants.
Anyways so I put both plants into an octopot and I filled it with 6 gallons of water pH to 6.2 and ppm of 800. So I put my plants in there then the next day the water pH rose to 7.0. ok odd, so I added pH down and got it to 6.2 then the next day was at 5.4 so I added my regular water pH of 7.8 and got it back to 6.2. The next day which is today I checked the pH and it's now 4.3.
I'm not sure what the heck is going on. I could see if it was always acidic, that the acid would leech into the water however it was alkaline then acidic twice.
Anyone else have these issues?
