Well I just wanted to know which one gets to the end result quicker? Also what's the deal with autoflowering? How potent is the end product? I've been reading up on its genetics and was thinking is it ditch weed crossed with line bred bud or what?

6-8 weeks for alot of indicas 9-12+ weeks for sativas.

autos 60days to harvest from seed with no change in light sceduale, depending on strain can be mid grade to fire

go for indicas for a quicker ending. autos for faster but less harvest

Well i think you have allot of reading to do but here is the short version.

hXXp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis_indica -- Shorter flower time
hXXp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis_ruderalis -- Shortest flower time, no need for light change
hXXp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis_sativa -- Longer flower time

I hve yet to come across "Fire" autos....best autos hve ever given me is B+ nugz. I wld go with a short flowering Indica over an auto any day. Jmo

You are not the first person to say that about autos. What would the buzz be like off of autos. Would you say better than Baggie bud? Obviously it is but for some reason I think the buzz is not good? Also what are some quick flowering indicas?

Autos are equal to the mid grade mexican weeds everybody sells on the streets

I think some of the Afghani strains are pretty potent and usually 7-8 weeks flowering.

Now that I have a point of reference I have zero desire to pop this auto thing that came with the Royal Purple Kush. :confused2:

To each his own. Ive smoked autos that smoked better than many 12/12s

That's being a little harsh ozzy Hehe.

I have grown one auto and I never will again. Great looking buds and plenty of trics, but the high was not there. Could have gotten higher just by banging your head into a brick wall.

Thats just my experence with the autos. imo they are not worth the time to grow them

That is also my experience with autos. I am not sure that I know anyone who has grown both autos and photoperiod that prefers the autos....what's that saying....once you try photoperiod you'll never go back....

You've got it, it's free...pop it and see if it's any good!

I doubt this, judging by the mexi we used to be forced to buy...but without ever growing any autos, I am speculating.

ive grown some of these new autos that are coming out and they rival some of my normal 12/12 strains.

my fruit automatic produced more and gets me higher than my Sour Kush (headband) with no training. much stickier too.

sure the kush has the better flavor cause its kush ;)

also i think it depends on pheno, a more runderalis pheno will give the more CBD than the other pheno and a differnt looking bud, giving it more of a midgrade smoke, when the next pheno is more of what its crossed with gives the much better high / bag appeal.

i do have 2 plants right now wher ei could take a photo to try and explain that better.
