I purchased roleadro 800 watt cob light from amazon mgf says to only run light 16 hours how is this going to effect my vegetation stage I have used hps/metal hyli de in past any helphere would be appreciated

Looks like they have a 2 year warranty. I’d run the light 18-24 hrs a day in veg and 12/12 in flower like you would any light. If it fails, they won’t have any way of telling how many hours a day you were running it.

i was thinking the same just don't want to go thru the hassle in the middle of my grow
