Another Saturday Night Fever coda: The Bee Gees' Robin Gibb died Sunday May 20 at 10:46 am. He was 62 years old, and had been battling colon cancer.

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time," Gibb's rep said in statement released to E! News.

Maurice Gibb, Robin's twin and bandmate, passed away in 2003.

I have faith in the chemical properties of Marijuana that a consistent treatment/cure will one day be found for this super vicious disease. There must be something that fights cancer cells efficiently that they cannot raise a tolerance to!

They have the cure just they value the employment more. I will not say anymore bout this topic cause Im livin it hard. Please forgive me pilgrems please I mean no disrespect.

RIP....again not a big Disco fan but I respect the mans work.

Out of all the b g bros, there's just one left.

Last week I think it was someone from Styx that died.
It's weird, and definitely sad were losing all these great musicians.

We're gonna lose some big ones in the coming years...Ozzy, Alice Cooper, others along that line...you know most of these guys and gals abused themselves regularly and some are likely living on borrowed time!

RIP, Robin. Neither me is a big fan of disco music but it's always a big pity to loose such creative and talented persons…

BWD, obviously i didn't knew and sorry for putting my nose in your affairs but i'm already considering you a friend, so… a BIG hug to you and your wife! :( Keep fighting! (no answer needed! Just felt the need to say what i said and sorry again for the intrusion)
