Most folks are familiar with "Take Five", but "Unsquare Dance" is a better song, and in more awesome 7/4 time. The man defined cool jazz. RIP.

I grew up with Dave Brubeck and other jazz playing in the background. I remember taking my dad to see Brubeck in '78 or so, and even though Paul Desmond had passed away by then, it was a real highlight for both of us.
