I have a few questions about my plants.

Are the strains bangie or bingie (unsure of the spelling) and Jilly b real strains or **?
If you’re going to use bag seeds, how do you choose the right ones? Color? Size? Markings?
Why do bag seeds have a bigger risk of going hermie? How do you influence the plants to remain female?
I am growing some bag seeds (most likely BC), how do I figure out what strain they might be?
I understand how to sex my plants, is their a risk of pollination before they begin flowering?
When breeding with the intent of producing a champion strain do I need to chart all the strains I crossed with? What if I use a seed that has no known history (like a bag seed)?
Is the auto gene a dominant gene?
I know most of these questions have an easy answer, buy legit seeds. I have an order in for some Hash plant seeds.

The seedling is a bag seed.
The clone is a Jilly B.

Not sure of the bangie... choseing the right seed..look 4 dark color with either spots or tiger like maks..IMO..the Larger the Better as well..as for the Bag seed going hermie..is because chances are the seed was prduced by a plant shotting a nanner or two..they are good to grow but I would not use the plants for breading due to it will carry the hermie trait as well..I have grown some good bag seed..just need to keep a good eye on them..There is allways a risk of pollenation that is why most pull males/hermies at first site..No matter what stage of breading/growing you are in...IMHO...a well kept documentaion of all is required..

I hope I have helped..I am not a breader bud have done my research and am experimenting now..I would buy some good genetics to use for Breading..just my .02...

Good luck and keep me posted will ya:D

"bhang" is the Bangladeshi word for "hash", haha. Jilly B? Never heard of it.

I don't think it is possible to tell anything from the seed.

Probably because a lot of bag seed comes from outdoor large grows of plants that have become feral over time. I don't see any way of 'influencing' the plants, it's just in the genetics.

Other than in general, by height, leaf type, flowering maturity time ... you cannot.
I understand how to sex my plants, is their a risk of pollination before they begin flowering?
Is there a risk of getting pregnant before puberty? NO!
When breeding with the intent of producing a champion strain do I need to chart all the strains I crossed with? YES What if I use a seed that has no known history (like a bag seed)? Don't do it
Is the auto gene a dominant gene?
Don't know the answer to that one, I don't grow such strains

Jilly B(ean) is a TGA strain, but if you did not buy the seed or clone from a reputable breeder than it is probably just bagseed. Even if Joe schmoe names the bag of weed or the clone they sell you it is probably just bagseed.

If you really do have Jilly Bean you have an excellent strain. It is the out-cross of Orange Velvet and Space Queen and it was created by MzJill.

Oh great Mike...now you had to go tell them my real name is Joe Schmoe didnt ya..thanks:bolt::bong:

My source is so so, really he seems to be a little burnt out so who knows if the strains are legit. I have decided to just buy some strains from a reputable seller. Afgani #1 and Hash plant are on my buy list. I'll let this batch run it's course and try to learn as much as possible.
