question regarding cool tubes

i was wondering if anybody could tell me how to make one of these.also,what kinda tube and fan do i want?where can i get them at? i tryed searching this topic but gave up after 45 mins.Please help,Thanks Alot

Aw, come on.......

I did a Google seach on "DIY cool tube" and came up with 116,000 hits. One of the first ones was a tutorial. There is also a DIY cool tube tutorial here. This one is made using hurricane lamp glass. These are harder to adapt to, IMHO, than the Pyrex bake arounds. Use plumbing no-hub couplings (without the rubber sleeve) to connect ducting to the glass.

Yes the hurricane glass is a little more difficult because it has that Goddess-like curve to it ~
