Hi. I grow on a balcony in my home. It's not 100% outdoor, as i am always there to water them and provide nutrients and such. They have grown too large now and i want to evoid detection. I don't want to throw them away though. Could i revert them to the flowering stage now (2 months in the vegetative stage now - 2 feet high plants) to determine their sex (so i can throw the male plants out to have more space) and than revert them to the vegetative stage again? Is this ok for the plants and the production? As soon as i see the white hairs i want to put them out in natural light (16+ hours a day) but will they grow buds or drop the white hairs and carry on growing?
Thank you!

Yes. You can put them into 12 hours of light now to determine sex but it's stressful for the plants. You could take a clone of each plant and place them into 12 hours of light and determine the plants sex that way. Much more effective method, I believe. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.

Yes i agree, just take a cutting from each and place under 12/12 you could just place the cutting in water till it shows sex thin chunk it..

there are a few options, before they begin to flower( which at two months they will pre flower for sex) you can top them, LST, or induce flowering with 12/12 cycle of bags and to reduce stress, start gradually, 16/8 for a 10days, 14/10, 12/12 adapt and harden them, a little more involved, but you could evade potential hermie qualities by slowly introducing this. just an idea, though. BTW what strains are you growing, or bag seed.

It's a classic "indica" or "afghanista"

You'll be fine doing that. You might end up gettin a hermie if you stress em too much tho. If they are getting to big, try giving them some Humboldt county bush master if you can get ahold of it. It wont grow an inch taller, but you'll get some buushes if thats what your looking for
