Question about cuts!!!

I was wondering where is the best place to take a cutting from? I have seen people take them from the top and bottom which is better and how big do they need to bee?I have heard 3 or 4 nodes long is this true

just make sure you take a sturdy stem and make the cut just below a node. then shave the node off and dip in clone hormone.

they say lower branches have more hormones and will root faster buttttt.. im not buying that.. Dito to what OGKushman said.
