Powerful smell!?!

I have never taken a plant to full term before and I have heard as much that the smell becomes powerful during the latter stages of cultivation. I was wondering, at what point does this happen, how powerful is that smell, and what must be done to keep nosey neighbors from getting a whiff and dropping dime?

i believe most strains start releasing odor during the flowering stage. correct me if im wrong guys. oh and to take care of the smell you can use an exhaust fan and a carbon filter in your grow room/box and an ozone generator.

I will watch this thread with interest, its my first outdoor grow (greenhouse) with a big plant, im used to managing this kind of thing with an indoor grow and keeping the plant short, i have a girl 6ft tall just showing her flower mode, i think i will keep fertilising my roses with horse manure to keep noses pointed away from my garden

I dont really worry about my smell at all maybe its because your usings a fan in your grow. i mean my plant smells but not 2 where it stinks up the whole house or even my closet. I may get a wiff of it but just a little musk from the plant if i touch the stem i really have a strong odor on my hands but thats about it im guessing you really get the smell after you cure your marijuana properly

yeah i was thinking about using manure on the grass if it smells that strong

Smell is very strain dependent, some will really stink where others dont have much smell at all.
This has nothing to do with potentcy.
