good day to all. i have two questions does anybody use polysheild in there grow room. & does it work.

I've never heard of polyshield. I recommend mylar. It reflects like 95% of light back onto your ladies. I would go with what works the best. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.

polyshield is used to block infared cameras .black on one side reflective on the other side.

I use polyshield, but not for IR blocking properties, its just way nicer to work with than mylar. Take a look at my grow journal and on the last page is a room I did in poly shield that should give you an idea of what it can do. And its cheap 80 bucks a roll. I've totally covered two bedrooms and two closets and still have a bunch left.

Let's not get confused. The only thing it shields against it light leakage! NOT heat!!! thus infra red will detect your area.

How much is infrared used? Depends on the country. Also depends on the county and the city. If your in a rural area don;t worry about it. If you in a dense suburban are then I would be concerned. Also the size of your operation is another thing to consider. If it's big I would put it in a naturally cool place such as a lower level or a basement, something under ground if possible. If it's a closet grow or a fairly small opp I wouldn't worry about it.
