Hi everyone, is there any time limits as to how late into flowering that you can pollinate a plant? I have plants flowering but male is not mature enough for pollen.

Was this question already answered in another thread?

it takes usualy 4 weeks for the seeds to mature so it depends on how long your strain flowers for if its 8-9 weeks dont try it after 4 weeks

I didnt even think about how long it would be in flowering for, just thought that there might be a time it would be optimal.

i wait 2-3 weeks till there are a good amount of white hairs then i use a small brush and only polly a few lower branches witch gives me a good amount of seeds and i still have all the bud at the top to smoke i even pollied one female with to different strains just label everything you pollinate and never do it anywere near your garden
also a good indicator of when to do it is when the male starts to turn yellow and open up thats when it naturaly occurs in the wild
