Yep, name says it all, I am sick of the sight I saw today:

Soooo...what's the chances he didn't chuck pollen?

Got me so flustered, I posted to wrong section....apologies.

Yeah, and you see how partial I am to the ladies....where's yer container, JOHNNY BOY?

i think you'll be ok roddy, you probably caught him just in time. but he does look close.

first time in a while i've ran seedlings unsexed outdoors too (had no choice really).. and will probably be the last.
my problem is lack of soil to transplant known bigger girls while waiting for everything else to *** (figures; sausage fest indoors, only 1 male so far out :( )

Dont touch it! Biggest mistake ppl make when finding a herm/male. Is grabbing it, freaking out and removing it. All the while throwing pollen everywhere. Spray you hands and the plant down with mister completely, then remove.

Yeah, I freaked and did all the wrong things. Thought back and wanted to kick myself, I at least coulda shut down the fans, bagged the guy and removed....but no, I freaked, grabbed, slammed it against the lights and hurried from the room with it.

I have no idea how this happened, as far as I knew, these were CLONES????? Something got switched up somewhere. Compound that, I just looked this plant over a day or so ago and saw nothing to get my attention (of course, looking for a MALE wasn't on my mind).

Ah well, hope all works and maybe someone can learn from my ignorant foolery.

OK, thinking, should I go and spray the room down...or too late? Also, what to do with this thing? Burn it? Chop it and bag it? I don't want pollen going all over the neighborhood.

:yeahthat:

Now that's some good advice,..

Roddy, I found nanners on a female clone in my outdoor once. Halfway through the season at that (no one in flower yet, still veging, prolly the only reason I spotted it). Only one cluster of flowers on one node. Chopped it, tossed it. You being indoor, I hope your fine, I hope your girls are fine. Nothing like unplanned pregnancy. Makes you realize how much planned parenthood clinics are needed out in the world.

On an aside, since I started growing, I wonder to myself..... What if the CAMP (federal, state and local law enforcement program) guys were to fly over the area and drop buckets of pollen..... wouldn't that discourage the heck out of growers guerilla growers from growing here? It shour would irritate me.

Good luck Roddy, hope you nipped those potential seeds in the bud.....or not...or at the least I hope your heart is done pounding and back to normal.

I was at another site that I frequent, when someone asked about growing some beans outside that they bred with hermi's...(shaking my head) I told them it was a REALLY bad idea and that they could pollute anybody else's outdoor for a 20 mile radius. Is it really that hard to understand?

Is this indoor or outdoor dude? Looks OD, but didn't think you grew OD. Or did your new greenhouse get setup that quick? Bummer on the boy, and hope he didn't ruin the whole crop...

He was in the basement hiding on the shelf right in plain sight, the pics show him after I pulled him out of his container.

Greenhouse is up and going good, pics in my journal!
