Hello guys. First time grower here and I have a couple good looking ladies next to each other and one is getting these brown spots all over and the other isnt.
I dont know if its because they are a different strain but one has a lot of crystals and the one without spots while being bigger and healthier looking has far fewer crystals.
But I really need to find out what is causing the spots before I go out of town so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello newguy75 Have a look with a magnifing glass under the leaves it may be some pest causing that damage ! It may also be splashed with nutes if there's no insects me thinks ! Also are the leaf tips curling in any way shape or form ! Take care !

Here is a little background info.... They are grown in regular soil nothing out of a bag. Once they started flowering I started using a fert with 15-30-15 but its hard to tell how much I'm giving them cause dosage is for flowering plants and shrubs. I use about a tablespoon and a half and dissolve as much of it as possible and pour into the ground about once a week to week and a half.
They are getting kinda close to harvest so I don't wanna hurt the taste.
Thanks in advance your help is greatly appreciated.

OK All the usual questions .. Whats the Ph of your water and soil . How often are you feeding , How long has it been in flower , Whats the ppm of your nutes , she's looking like sat/ind 50/50 so 8-12 weeks finishing let us know what you know . The lower leaves will die off some what as the plant will draw the nitrogen out of them anyway ! And whats your fert brand name !

Ok I have no idea what strain they are. I threw some seeds out the back door then went on vacation to come back to 5-7 plants growing. I moved them to a remote corner of the property and just dug four small holes.
One died during the swap. One I wasnt sure the sex even though the other two were definitely female so I pulled it just in case. (TOTAL newbie)
The fert is called Colorburst from home depot. Its the only thing I could find local that had high potassium. Is it decent?

I have no idea what the Ph is. How do I check it? They are not in buckets or anything. Just in the ground.
I think they have been flowering for 6-8 weeks I'm not exactly sure.
I'll get some more pics soon.
Thanks again

This I clipped two days ago to try to look at the trichomes but I cant find a 30X glass anywhere local.
I'm guessing a few more weeks as the hairs look about 30-35% reddish any tips?
I was thinking about just harvesting it and not worrying about the spots but I just dont know how serious they are.
Would you harvest possibly 2-3 weeks early just in case?

And here is one I just went and took.
I'll be out of town for 2-3 weeks. Think they will be ok till I get back??

Buy some neem oil from Lowes and give them a treatment... I have spots similar to yours and I have mites and crickets. GL with the war.

first of all... if they are in the ground, you won't have to worry about the PH of yer water...

second... that fert yer using has too much nitrogen in it, hence, it will prolong flowering... if not be detrimental to it...

as for the spots... I'd venture a guess to say it's got "rust spot"... but at this stage of flowering, I wouldn't spray anything on the plants... just let them go and you should be ok

go ahead and leave that remaining (as I understand it...) girl to do her thing... it will be fine until you get back....

- this has been the ramblings of a crazy man, so head my advice at yer own risk.... LOL :p

Well there is still two left side by side. One is about 5 1/2 feet tall and the other maybe 5 ft. They have very similar looking leaves and hairs but the bigger one on the left has hardly any visible crystals while the one on the right has a pretty decent amount IMHO. (Is that common)

Did you try radio shack for a scope? I got two from there. One has three lenses and mags to 15X. It worked good for last year, but it had to be sunny to get a good look at the crystals. The new one I have mags to 100X, but I have to sit down somewhere to see it properly.

And, I don't think they're ready yet, I was thinking a month. But that scope will reveal the truth.
