So on my property there is a large dug-out(man made pond) that we use for watering horses and cows.Is it ok to use this water for plants? And is it a dumb idea to grow where there livestock? will it just get eatin?

The water might have a high PH? And im sure the live stock would love your plants, lol.

I grew mj on a farm along with horses and goats and they both loved the plants. I'm sure cattle would eat them right to the ground also. You would have to put up a fence or something to keep the livestock away. Just my thoughts. Take care and be safe.

About ten years ago I used to grow in a spot where I had to walk through two cow pastures to get to my grow area. The cows there would chase us through the fields almost every time. Those things were so huge and could have easily trampled us if they wanted too. It sucks running from killer cows with a gallon of water in each hand and a huge backpack on with another five gallons in it. Theres no point to my story but just be careful around those cows. Sorry, your post brought back some funny *** memories.

You might as well tell the cattle Bon Appetite and be done with it

the cows chased you because they thought you were going to feed them. My friend ran from a horse while we were picking and he jumped on the electric fence! The horse just calmly came up to us afterwards and looked at us. They see people and associate it with food.

Well that makes sense. They were still scary as hell.
