"The Colorado Department of Transportation says total traffic deaths were 546 in 2015 and went up to 648 in 2017, but, the population increased by 265,000 people in those same years, according to Sam Cole, CDOT spokesman. Deaths caused by marijuana impairment actually went down. The causes were more related to a cocktail of alcohol and other drugs, like prescription pain relievers.
Here's something to really think about. Marijuana is not addictive, while most opiate pain relievers are highly addictive. The people that are most against this measure are the same ones that are prescribing these same highly addictive drugs. The question we should be asking them is, in the last year, how many people have they turned into addicts themselves?" ~ Burnin1
