NOOB question abour JARS

This is my 2nd harvest. So still a NOOB. First grow was ok , 2nd is looking way better but still needs work.

I read about curing and really dont get it. If someone can bring it down to my level and explain what the following really does.

BROWN BAGS - Does this just dry it out better?

JARS - Is that for taste/flavor ?

Ive read that , but it just says to do it. Not why.

Its done to make the smoke mellow, not harsh, makes the bud smell better when burnt, makes the bud easy on your lungs, makes you a happier bunny.

Or simply smoke it without a cure.

I know what I prefer.

It's worth the wait, trust me.
I encourage you to smoke freshly off the plant, again when it's dry, and then again when it's cured a bit. You'll quickly figure out which one you prefer

Do you get lemon flavor if you put lemon peels in the jar with your curing bud?

Yes ... but he states "Curing does not lower potency when done correctly, although poor curing methods often result in some less of THC. "
How ever he doesn't explain what poor curing methods could result in less THC ... any one know what that is? :confused2:

dont know about that, might get some mold from that....
