I have been prescribed Shishkaberry flower with the recommendation to vape it a few weeks ago. Never vaped before, not even nicotine so this is quite new for me and after a few weeks of research and trial and error I still think I'm doing something wrong. Hopefully the community can help. 😊

I got a Flowermate V5 Nano as this is all my budget allowed for, but now I'm thinking a Mighty Medic +, paid of via Health Now would have probably been the better choice...

Has anyone tried both and can compare the following things?

  • vapour production
  • length of session
  • battery life
I feel like my V5 Nano hardly produces any vapour, even when taking long draws. The taste is great, but it is very harsh and makes me cough regularly. I also don't think I'm getting as much out of it as I should.

Can you generally say, how long an average session with a full chamber lasts? Obviously depending on the chamber size, temperature, draw length etc.

I'm just confused, because my doctor said that vaping requires much less product than smoking and it doesn't feel like that for me.

Or is there a possibility to test different vaporisers before buying?

((I always make sure i keep temperature at least -45, I like -55, use hot water bath and electric skillet to evaporate off alcohol and always have silicone tools & a small jar for storage & to evaporate off any residual water by placing it on top of the coffee warmer until no more little little bubbles appear after stirred…
Expect 4.3 grams clean oil with no Wax, fats, chlorophyll or other Undesirables in it.
So since I grow my own weed, I don’t like ask me about seven dollars a gram versus
$85-$100 here in St. Louis with taxes… I know it’s completely clean & organic.

I switched to vaping recently and had similar questions. The V5 Nano is decent but might not give you the vapor production you're looking for. I've heard good things about the Mighty Medic + for better vapor and longer sessions.

In my experience, session length varies based on temperature and draw length, but generally, a full chamber lasts a good while. It's true vaping uses less product than smoking, but finding the right device is key. If you're exploring options, fenixth8.com has helpful insights on vaporizers.

I have only tried a dry herb vape. The whole set up was less than 50 bucks with a 3 year extended warranty. I didn't like it. It removed all of the taste. Kind of like inhaling warm air. The high was good just didn't like all the flavor gone. It was good if you had a gassy strain you wanted to calm down. My weed generaly does not need it. I try to stay away from gas/ turpentine profiles.

Never cared for dry vaping and I don't much trust regular vape pens and the **** that's in the oil.
I'll stick to my glass pipes and joints.

Dang Jerry,,,that was almost a year ago 😁
Where you been brother?

Got me a Lookah Seahorse Pro Plus. The #3 and #5 coils will rock you pretty good. It comes with 1 of the #5 coils. The device will also handle 510 thread carts.

Works great with my homemade LA Kush Cake rosin and my Apple Fritter live resin. :D

Elementvape sells it for around $30 plus shipping. Its $50 and up anywhere else.

It sounds like you’re still getting the hang of vaping, and that’s totally normal! The Flowermate V5 Nano can sometimes produce less vapor, especially if you’re not hitting it long enough or have the temperature too low. A Mighty Medic would likely give you more vapor and a smoother experience with longer battery life, but it's a more expensive option. I’d recommend experimenting with the V5 Nano's temperature settings and trying slower, longer draws to improve vapor. If possible, testing out a few different vapes before committing could help you find the one that suits you best!
